Orthofix is supporting the humanitarian efforts underway in Ukraine and neighboring countries through a $25,000 donation to the International Medical Corps. Inside Ukraine and the surrounding region, the International Medical Corps’ teams are responding to this crisis by expanding access to medical services for those in need.
Estimates are that of the more than three million people who have fled the war in Ukraine, one-half of them are children. These children and those who remain in Ukraine are in need of urgent assistance. UNICEF has mobilized to help these children. Orthofix supports the mission of UNICEF and is launching a fundraiser among its more than 1,000 employees worldwide and will match donations up to $25,000 supporting UNICEF’s efforts to assist children impacted by this crisis. For more than eight decades, UNICEF has built an unprecedented global support system and saved more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization.
