We offer an interesting opportunity to join our Regulatory Affairs team, based in Bussolengo (VR) a Product Regulatory Affairs Specialist, reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager.
The Product RA Specialist is mainly responsible to assure availability of Technical Documentation File by preparing and maintain up to date the regulatory Product Application Files applicable for any new or modified Products. (e.g. EU-MDR Technical Documentation File, FDA 510(k))
Responsibilities include collaboration with Quality Engineering and R&D Departments and other functional areas in the application of all identified regulatory requirements for ensuring Technical Product Documentation File is adequate and accurate for successful regulatory submissions and approvals in each impacted country. Good management skills and relationship skills are necessary in this role.
What will your contribution be?
•She/he is member of the NP team and Product Reviews Board, by participating, prepare and assure that the regulatory deliverables are duly prepared during the NP – Reviews processes in due time.
•She/he edits and amends the Technical File structure and verifies regulatory conformity of technical documentation in collaboration with Quality Engineering and R&D necessary for Products application submission in EU, US and ROW countries, as required.

We are looking for a person to insert as IT Security Engineer International to join our IT Department based in Bussolengo (VR).
This position reports to the Senior Manager IT International and will interact with other departments to ensure that company assets are protected as required by regulatory compliance at all levels. This position will be part of the InfoSec Team and work to secure the Orthofix environment.
The person has to work also with external agents (consultants, auditors, vendors) as needed to achieve goals.This position has the primary responsibility for supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives involving information technology (IT) security controls. As directed this position participates in the design, development, and delivery of those security controls across the IT systems.
The responsibility also includes facilitating and executing the enforcement and administration of the IT Security program’s monitoring and governance efforts related to security events as well as support for remote and network access systems for the Orthofix office locations.
The IT Security Engineer is responsible for the monitoring of security systems to detect potential attacks as they occur and the validation of controls in business systems. This includes the ability to provide information on previous malicious attacks, the use of multiple infrastructure and security systems to look for suspicious or anomalous activities and adhere to the global Orthofix incident response plan to help in the response activities.
Strong expertise and experience in implementing and managing the Technical Security Safeguards required by Orthofix IT Security standards is required, as well as responsibility for oversight for securing configurations on operating environments, including networks, routers/firewalls, workstations, mobile devices.Due to the sensitive topics managed by the person, it is requested to be flexible in terms of working hours / availability on the weekend in case of emergencies to handle.

•Facilitate and execute the enforcement and administration of the Global IT Security Program’s monitoring and governance efforts.

• Design — Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle involved in the development and production of embedded electronics
o You have a good knowledge of your field of specialization, embedded architectures, and master the associated technical environment.
o You are knowledgeable of electronic circuit design, analysis/simulation and testing
o As the hardware and software components of embedded systems are intrinsically linked, you should ideally have some programming skills, for example in C and C++
o You are familiar with electronic laboratory tools: oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, soldering tools.
o You have EMC Knowledge
o At the methodological level, you are familiar with the V-model or agile methods.
o Patenting knowledge to collaborate for the patent documentation
o Being knowledgeable of 60601 series standard for medical devices and EMC testing, is a major plus.• Production and Processing — Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Master degree in relevant fields
• 3+ years experience relevant to the position
• Fluent English knowledge and other languages would be appreciated
• Previous working experience in a regulated device industry or in a structured Company are considered a plus
