Indications
Painful arthritic deformity of the ankle joint with stiffness in the subtalar joint
Fractures of the tibial plafond and/or talus where reconstruction is impossible
Fracture/dislocations of the ankle joint combined with severe arthritic changes and loss of function
Supramalleolar non-union with subtalar stiffness
Failed fusion of the ankle joint
Contre-indications
Active infection
General medical conditions including: impaired blood supply, pulmonary insufficiency (i.e. ARDS, fat embolism) or latent infection
Patients with psychological or neurological conditions, who are unwilling or incapable of following instructions for post-operative care
Foreign body sensitivity. Where material sensitivity is suspected, tests should be made prior to implantation
