Product Description

The Pennig II Wrist Fixator is a highly stable, lightweight fixator for distal radius fractures, with double ball-joints that allow fracture reduction in all planes with the fixator applied. It can be used for the most complex extra-articular or transarticular applications. When used in the transarticular mode, ligamentotaxis can be employed to assist in fracture reduction. When desired, the wrist joint can be mobilized without displacement of fracture fragments.

Extra-Articular applications allow unrestricted motion from day one and improved patient function during treatment with preserved volar tilt. The radiolucent clamp allows visualization of the reduction, and variable pin placement in the distal fragment.
