Introduction
The patient was a 47-year-old male with chronic pain on the ball of his left foot and dorsal apex pain while standing and walking. Conservative measures had failed to provide any relief of his symptoms. Patient had no significant past medical history except that he smoked about a half-pack of cigarettes a day.

Post-Op Course
The patient had a Physio-Stim Bone Growth Stimulator placed immediately post-operatively. The patient was asked not to walk on it for 12 days, but he started to walk at 5 days post-op. The Mini-Rail Lengtheners were tightened each week when the patient came for follow-up. Mini-Rails were taken off at 6 weeks post-op.
