And that focus led us to grow beyond the realm of our core external fixation and bone growth stimulation products - to discover fresh innovations and solutions. So today, our expanded product offerings include:

Many of our innovative product offerings were developed through partnerships and affiliations with surgeons and premiere health care organizations. These partnerships strengthen our ability to fulfill our company mission and position us for future market growth. Our partner organizations include the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation, and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, which was recently named the nation's fourth best pediatric orthopedic program by Parents Magazine.
In addition, we have supported research through the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF) for over ten years and are a platinum sponsor of the organization.
Working directly with surgeon developers, we have also made impactful product acquisitions and developed products organically.
Professional Medical Education
Our concentration on educational programs continues to contribute to significant market acceptance. Orthofix provides relevant, leading-edge educational opportunities throughout the year for our surgeons. Our customized medical education opportunities serve the needs of our customers and enhance the work they do everyday. Hundreds of surgeons attend medical education courses each year through our programs in Texas, California and Verona, Italy. Additionally, we continue to develop surgeon champions for local peer-to-peer symposia.
